  I started using them last month (11/7/12) for one of the investment properties I manage in Hempstead. Everything was good, ordered 100 Gallons of Oil and Paid over the phone w/ my Credit Card.
  
  Called them again on 12/7/12 for another 100 gallons of oil and Paid over the phone w/ Credit Card. Today (12/14/12) I noticed some extra charges from them on my Chase account. I called the Lady who usually picks
  
  up the phone regarding these charges and She tells me that I called her again on 12/12/12 for another 100 Gallons and Needed Boiler Service. I told her that I never called her and would remember what I did
  
  two days ago......next thing you know...we are in a heated discussion. She kept on claiming that it was me that called. Here are some back and forth for enjoyment reasons.
  
  Me: Why would I call you for another 100 gallons when I just ordered it couple of days ago.
  
  Her: Well, Somebody did.
  
  Me: If I wanted more then why didn't I just call for more 4 days ago and you saw my routine of calling for 100 gallons every 7th of the month:
  
  Her: Well, somebody called.
  
  Me: Let me ask you, if the neighbor wants to prank me and call you that they need another delivery of oil to that property, will you just deliver it and charge it to my account? Are you going to have any protocol of some questions or Security to make sure, you are talking to the owner of the card?
  
  Finally, She Yelled for some guy in the back named Bob who told her that it was a Guy from Tennessee. Bingo, one of the Tenants staying at the property is from Tennessee.
  
  So What do we do now? She Said to call "the Guy" up to find out why he called. Will that help resolve anything. My Problem is that you are not asking people if they are the Card Holder or Not. You are just fixing, delivering, the moment you get an order for the property and Charge.
  
  Is that how it works? If anyone reading this and want to Heating Oil and Svc....just Put it on my Tab ;-)
  
  They should have simply asked "the Guy" if he was paying for it since it was COD. Also, how do I know that the Svc was necessary and what was fixed since the owner of the Card was completely out of loop.
  
  I have to find out by looking at my account online. This is so Shady of them and Not holding any responsibility by just saying "oops, you know we should have called the account owner before charging anything" OR Ask "the Guy" who was going to pay
  for this? Next time whoever asks for Oil or Svc.....Just Ask---"HOW ARE YOU PAYING FOR THIS TODAY???? CAN YOU VERIFY THE NAME ON THE CARD, ETC? DON'T CHARGE DEBIT CARDS WITHOUT ONES AUTHORIZATION.
